Parents and volunteers are welcome in order to multiply the occasions to share a book from our collection or your own, share their tips and good practices, and support our children and community regarding their education objectives. This is an educational support service, children develop their study methods and work on their assignments in order to gain confidence and comfort that will help them throughout their academic career. It is understood that each child completes their assignments respectful of their personal rhythm and that of the other participants. The service can never replace the vital role of parents in their child’s education and thus some work and oversight is necessary at home. That said, the program is a support service making learning fun in a culturally safe environment, not a daycare.

Registration information is distributed with the collaboration of your child’s school, and available at the CEFC. Registration is mandatory. There is a maximum of 10 students per group. If demand is strong, groups will be made up by grade and assigned specific weekdays to attend. This service is offered free of charge sue to the kind collaboration of the Quebec Ministry of Education and Post-Secondary Studies.
